Ms. MacGibbon is an inspirational speaker, certified addiction treatment specialist, and author of the nationally award-winning addiction memoir, Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up from Rock Bottom.
Kim Manlove, Director of the Coalition, presented Marti with the award, and added that she is recognized for her outstanding work in recovery advocacy, and for breaking away the stigma surrounding addiction, human trafficking, mental illness and and other issues.
