January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Survivor, speaker and author Marti MacGibbon will deliver a humorous inspirational talk at an event for Mentari USA, a non-profit that provides services to empower victims and survivors of human trafficking. After her presentation, Marti will sign copies of her nationally award-winning memoir, Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up from Rock Bottom. 30% of the profits from book sales to Mentari USA.
This event will be an entire evening that includes powerful speakers, live music, and socializing.
Marti MacGibbon overcame human trafficking, trauma, addiction and domestic violence to thrive in a happy, successful life.
