Humorous inspirational speaker Marti MacGibbon will deliver the keynote speech at Charles County Freedom Landing’s Annual Conference on May 15, 2015. Immediately following the speech, Marti will do a fun and informative workshop, sharing strategies for stress management and wellness. She will also sign copies of her nationally award-winning memoir, Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up from Rock Bottom. Freedom Landing provides a full range of mental health services. Marti is a well-known speaker and nationally award-winning author with a powerful personal story: she survived and triumphed over human trafficking, domestic violence, adolescent sexual abuse/assault, post traumatic stress disorder, homelessness, and hard core drug addiction to become a successful speaker, standup comic, author, and certified addiction treatment professional. Ms. MacGibbon is an expert on trauma resolution and resilience.
