Marti MacGibbon is an empowered survivor of human trafficking, and a national advocate for victims and survivors of this terrible crime. Ms. MacGibbon has advocated and lobbied at the White House, State Dept., Dept. of Health and Human Services and Office for Victims of Crime. She has also lobbied at the state level, in California and Indiana. Marti is a nationally known speaker, an internationally known author, and an expert on trauma resolution and addiction. She has overcome human trafficking, adolescent sexual abuse/assault, domestic violence, PTSD, homelessness, and drug addiction. She’s a high energy presenter who inspires, entertains, and educates audience.

Ms. MacGibbon will be speaking at “Human Trafficking in Plain Sight: Identifying Best Practices” National Conference and Gala, March 10-12, 2016. She will do a breakout session on human trafficking, trauma, and addiction during the conference, and a special presentation at the Gala. Marti will also be speaking as a panel member on specific issues. The conference will be held at Hodges University’s Naples campus located at 2655 Northbrooke Drive. The Friday, March 11th evening gala will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples located at 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road.

The cost to attend the conference is $30 for early bird and $50 for regular registrants; however, students may attend free. The deadline for early bird registration is Feb. 25. Tickets to the gala are $175 per person online or $200 onsite. Interested individuals may purchase a table for $1,700.
