Marti MacGibbon is empowered survivor of human trafficking and a nationally known advocate for victims and survivors. She is an internationally known speaker and an expert on trauma resolution and addiction. A resiliency expert, she has triumphed over nightmare experiences such as being trafficked to Tokyo and sold to organized crime figures, domestic violence, adolescent sexual abuse/assault, severe PTSD, homelessness, and addiction. Marti knows how to encourage, inspire, entertain and educate audiences using light humor and inspiration. On March 30th, at 7:30 p.m., she will deliver a keynote speech to BSU students and faculty, and to mental health service providers. After her talk, Marti will be available for questions, or to talk with attendees.
