Marti MacGibbon is an internationally known speaker and author, and an expert on trauma resolution and addiction. She’s a dynamic presenter who entertains, inspires, and educates listeners, providing simple, effective strategies for building and maintaining emotional resiliency and overcoming challenges.

Marti will be plenary keynoter at the Meth + other Drugs Conference, April 27th in Belleville, IL. Her 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. keynote, Laughing All the Way Up from Rock Bottom,  will be followed by a plenary session, Game Changers: Tools for Building Emotional Resiliency, 10:45 a.m. to noon. Marti will also sign copies of her nationally award-winning memoir, Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up from Rock Bottom.

Few speakers have a personal comeback story as powerful and inspirational as Marti’s. She has overcome nightmare experiences such as being trafficked to Tokyo and held prisoner by Japanese organized crime figures, domestic violence, adolescent sexual abuse/assault, homelessness, PTSD and hard core drug addiction. Her clinical training and experience, combined with a background in professional standup comedy, make her an excellent choice for a keynote speaker at conferences on addiction and mental health.

Marti MacGibbon is a humorous inspirational speaker and a nationally award-winning author.
